Winnipeggers have said their final goodbyes - for the second time - to Canad Inns Stadium.
The home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for the last 60 years played host to its final event last month.
The stadium will soon meet the business end of a wrecking ball and a two-storey, 144,000-square-foot Target store will rise in its place as the anchor of a 26-acre development. (The retail giant's plans are contingent on a traffic study and building permit.)
Work on the site is expected to be completed by the fall of 2013.
