Moose Jaw's new $100 million regional hospital is well under construction and headed for completion late next year.

Built to a "lean" standard meant to reduce waste, the hospital's design and care model will allow health-care services to come to patients in single rooms, rather than requiring patients to travel throughout the facility.

This will result in more convenient services for patients, operational efficiencies and improvements in safety, according to the Five Hills Health Region.
