The HITT Zone recently opened up in 12,000 square feet of athletic training facilities in a former Sears warehouse in northeast Regina.

HITT stands for high intensity target training, and offers a year-round facility geared to help the city’s athletes in a variety of sports improve their skills. Teams can rent out the entire facility or players can rent out a single batting cage or other equipment.

Dale Griesser, Regina-based president and broker of Avison Young Commercial Real Estate, said the developers spent $350,000 retrofitting the former warehouse space to be able to accommodate the city’s young athletes.

The HITT Zone also has conference rooms for clinics, sports meetings or even school and work meetings.
