A $100-million multi-family project in North Vancouver’s Moodyville neighbourhood broke ground this week and is already nearly sold out.

Developer Qualex-Landmark held a groundbreaking ceremony on Oct. 17 at The Green on Queensbury midrise development, between Low Level Road and East 3rd Street. Qualex says the project is 80 per cent sold and expected to complete in early 2020.

“We are proud to be one of the first residential developers to lay down roots in the soon-to-be revitalized Moodyville neighbourhood,” said Mohammed Esfahani, president of Qualex-Landmark group.

The Green features three, four-storey buildings with a mix of condominiums and park-front townhomes, ranging in size from 517 to 1,546 square feet.

The development is considered the first large-scale residential development in the city’s Moodyville Park revitalization project.

“This is a milestone moment for Moodyville,” says City of North Vancouver Mayor Darrell Mussatto.
