Ken LeBlanc and Walter Melanson, founders of PropertyGuys.com, joined this summer's G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit to address the role of youth entrepreneurship in the post-recovery world. The Canadian federal government, as part of the G20 consultative process, has recognized that the summit and its recommendations were a focus of discussion of entrepreneurship at the G20 Business Summit. The members of the G20 delegation discussed points at the June 2010 summit that were drafted into a communiqué that was officially handed over to the G20 Business Summit delegation.

"Young entrepreneurs are a vital contributor to global economic development. Only through open discussion can we address the needs and recognize the challenges facing these innovative young people on an international scale," said Vivian Prokop, chair of the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit. "We are proud to include Ken LeBlanc and Walter Melanson of PropertyGuys.com, one of CYBF's most successful startups in the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit."

The Canadian Youth Business Foundation is the "go-to" place for youth entrepreneurship, Prokup said. One of the Foundation's more successful alumni, PropertyGuys.com is Canada's largest private-sale real estate network, and the company sees growth in the youth market.

With more than 100 franchises in 600 communities across Canada, PropertyGuys.com employs 345 people from coast to coast, and has received the National Award of Excellence from the Canadian Franchise Association. The firm is Canada's only full-service, private sale franchisor.

"It's an amazing honour to be part of something this big. We believe that young entrepreneurs require a forum, like the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit, to identify the challenges that face young entrepreneurs around the world," said LeBlanc.
