A massive, free-to-attend expo on all things franchise is taking place this weekend, November 2 and 3, at the Vancouver Convention Centre East Building.
The 2019 Vancouver Franchise Canada Show aims to give those looking to own their own business an opportunity to connect with franchisors from wide-ranging sectors and learn tricks of the trade from expert panels.
The Canadian Franchise Association said in a press release that B.C. was a particularly strong-performing province in this sector, with franchise growth in 2019 at four times the level of 2018.
Sherry McNeil, Canadian Franchise Association president and CEO, said, “The B.C. franchise industry continues to impress, contributing $10 billion a year to our $100-billion Canadian franchise industry. With a strong economy and low unemployment, we’ve been thrilled to see a jump in the number of franchises in the province and diverse franchise offerings.”
The association has signed up a huge array of franchises of all stripes to exhibit at the show, including those from the restaurant, education, fitness and homecare sectors, among many others.
