Engel & Völkers Okanagan agent Richard Deacon is among western Canadian real estate agents listing some of the largest and most prestigious trophy properties in the country this summer with a $6.6 million, 10-acre waterfront offering in B.C.’s Lake Country.

Richard Osborne of Landquest Realty Corp. of New Westminster has listed the Buck Lake Ranch, a 670-acre working cattle ranch near Beaverdell in the Kootenays of eastern B.C. that includes the fully furnished, luxury-built, five-bedroom Buck Lake Lodge.

In B.C.’s Upper Nicola Valley, Alan Johnson of Colliers International has listed the Kullagh Lake Ranch. Part of the historic Stump Lake Ranch, this 320-acre property is in the heart of B.C.’s cattle country. It includes a 3,250-square-foot executive house and a private 50-acre lake.
“Located less than four hours from Vancouver, this property is easily accessible on a year-round basis,” Johnson noted. Listing price is $3.49 million.
Johnson has also listed the Meridian Golf Course in Surrey. Situated in South Surrey near the White Rock border, the par-3 course covers 24 acres and includes two private houses and a clubhouse.
Located in an area with significant residential development, the golf course is priced at $8.9 million.
On southern Vancouver Island, NAI Commercial agents Scott Forbes and Bob Moss offer a 10-acre oceanfront package just north of Ladysmith.
The site includes a 12-unit lodge, a separate owner’s residence and a kiwi vineyard. It is priced at $3.4 million and offers “plenty of potential” for an owner-developer, Forbes said.
In Victoria, Ross Marshall, senior vice-president of CBRE, recently listed a landmark 12-storey, 74-unit rental apartment tower on the Dallas Road waterfront. It is on a 0.73-acre site with a three-storey annex and development potential. Now accepting bids, Marshall said the final price for the property could reach $40 million.
