Starlight Investments acquires four Vancouver highrises

The four buildings comprise of 456 units across downtown and North Vancouver

Toronto-based Starlight Investments has acquired four apartment buildings in Vancouver, bringing its B.C. holdings to nearly 1,700 residential units across 18 towers. 
 
The recent acquisitions total 456 units in what Starlight refers to as a ‘landmark’ sale. 
 
“In the Canadian market place, an urban multi-residential real estate transaction of this magnitude and involving irreplaceable Vancouver real estate is rare,” said Daniel Drimmer, Starlight president and CEO, in a release. 
 
The buildings include:
 
  • 1005 Jervis Street, Vancouver – 19-storey, 135-unit highrise Matthew Towers
  • 1501 Haro Street, Vancouver – 22-storey, 144-unit hghrise Paul Plaza
  • 1755 Haro Street, Vancouver – 19-storey, 138-unit highrise Peter Manor
  • 150 East Keith Road, North Vancouver  – 12-storey, 39 unit highrise Monika Vista 
 
The price of the sale and seller were not disclosed by Starlight. All four properties will now be managed by MetCap Living and were previously managed by Ottmann Properties Ltd. 
 
Starlight’s portfolio consists of approximately 36,000 multi-residential units across Canada and the U.S. and more than 5.3 million square feet of commercial properties.
