The Trump International Hotel and Tower in Vancouver has sold out 214 luxury condominiums at an average of $1,615 per square foot, a record price for a new condominium project in Canada. The Trump tower sales included a selection of $6.4 million sub-penthouses, according to the developer, Holborn Group.

Three top-floor penthouses, which are expected to be priced from $20 million, will go the market in 2017.

“It has been extraordinary to lead this record-setting team,” said Joo Kim Tiah, principal of Holborn Group, the joint developer with TA Global Bhd. of the $360 million Trump Vancouver. “Trump Vancouver has set a new benchmark for luxury living in Canada.”

Trump Vancouver is scheduled to open this summer. Soaring 63 stories, it will be the second-tallest building on the city skyline.

The West Georgia Street hotel will feature Vancouver’s first pool bar nightclub, a lounge that serves only champagne, and a luxury spa inspired by Ivanka Trump, daughter of the U.S. presidential candidate. Trump Vancouver was named Canada’s No.1 real estate development by Elite Traveler magazine, and it is the only Canadian development it ranked among the Top 100 developments in the world.

Malaysia-based Holborn Group has a number of other large-scale Vancouver developments about to start. These include the $300 million redevelopment of the 15-acre Little Mountain site in East Vancouver, which is to create up to 1.400 homes; and the development of prime downtown mixed-use site on Dunsmuir Street, which still requires city rezoning.
