The Mission Community Health Centre next to Mission Memorial Hospital has sold for $15.5 million, $50,000 above asking price.

The 3-storey property is operating on lease by Fraser Health Authority, on an 18-year term. Its net operating income in 2014 was $601,018 and is projected to be $803,237 in 2017. The specialized healthcare facility was built two years ago and is located just off Lougheed Highway at 7298 Hurd St. in Mission.

Todd Bohn, Justin Mitchell and Owen Yates of Frontline Real Estate Service represented the seller.

Bohn believes that the recent sale signifies a growing trend in buyers looking to invest in the Fraser Valley.

“As buyers have trouble placing their cash in the downtown core, demand in the Fraser Valley continues to increase,” said Bohn. “For this reason, it now makes sense for owners to consider disposing of these assets to take advantage of their increased value.”
