Local developer, Duchuck Holdings Ltd., has purchased the former site of the Saskatoon municipal police department for $10.7 million. The property has remained vacant and unsold since the Saskatoon Police Service moved to a new location in summer 2014.

The 60,900-square-foot building will undergo a complete interior and exterior renovation. ICR agent Barry Stuart says the buyer will then offer shell or move-in-ready office space to qualified tenants. Stuart, along with agents Phill Elenko and Shawn Tomyn brokered the sale.

The sale was offered as two separate properties: the subject building and its adjacent parking lot. The building, equipped with underground and rooftop parking, was listed on the market for $11.5. The ground-level lot was listed for $5 million.

The properties are located in Saskatoon’s downtown core, at 130 and 140 4th Ave. N.
